IT Service Desk/ Help desk

MIS Alliance, a fast-paced IT consulting firm located in Newton, Massachusetts, is looking for an IT professional with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in outsourced IT Help Desk/Remote Customer Support. The candidate will be supporting our diverse client base in Eastern Massachusetts.

Position Summary: This position consists of on the phone IT support, some on-site support, and various remote services.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills with attention to details.
  • Confident, motivated, self-starter and enthusiastic.
  • Experience with and ability to learn and support a variety of business applications.
  • Experience with any remote monitoring management (RMM) platform
  • Experience with desktop support in Windows/ OSX platforms
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite and Teams
  • Experience with 3rd party apps like Firefox/ Chrome, Zoom, WebEx/ GoToMeeting
  • Adequate knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware configurations (cameras/ microphones)
  • Experience with handheld devices (iPhones, Android Phones, iPads and tablets).
  • A minimum of an associate degree in IT or IT related field.
  • Certifications from the following list is a plus:
    1. Microsoft MCSE
    2. A+, Network+ and/or Security+ certificates
    3. Apple Certified Support Professional
  • Experience with the following is a big plus:
    1. Microsoft 365
    2. Google Apps
    3. Networking/ Firewalls

While we are currently working remotely due to the COVID19 Pandemic, candidates must be able to easily commute to our location when in-office operations resume (currently estimated for mid-to-late 2021)
