MIS ALLIANCE APPOINTS EDWARD
McHUGH AS PRESIDENT AND CEO
Business Technology Veteran to Accelerate Company's Growth
and Expansion
NEWTON, MASS (APRIL 3, 2007) –
MIS Alliance, a leading provider of IT, MIS and CIO services to
Boston-area small- and mid-sized businesses, today appointed Mr.
Edward McHugh as president and chief executive officer.
Mr. Al Karimi, president since
co-founding MIS Alliance in 1999, will continue to be actively
involved as a business consultant, focusing on sales, marketing
and business growth. Ms. Taraneh Satvat, CEO since co-founding
the company in 1999, will also remain as a business consultant,
focusing on the company’s internal operations. All clients will
continue to be serviced by the same top-notch engineering team
and sales staff that have supported them in the past.
Mr. McHugh brings more than
twenty-five years of business, management and technology
expertise to MIS Alliance. In his new role, Mr. McHugh will
focus on accelerating MIS Alliance’s momentum and expanding the
range of its services. His top priorities will be identifying
new business opportunities, partnering with MIS Alliance’s
clients and building on the strong foundation that Mr. Karimi
and Ms. Satvat have established. Most recently, Mr. McHugh was
president of Lexington IT Solutions, a consultancy specializing
in IT strategy. He has held a variety of senior IT management
positions at Prime Computer, Novell and Fidelity Investments.
Mr. McHugh also served as the CIO for Fidelity’s insurance
subsidiary.
