NEWTON-BASED BUSINESS EXECUTIVE
TO SPEAK AT MICROSOFT TECH-ED CONFERENCE
MIS Alliance Technology Executive to Speak on the Role of End
Users in Computing Security Violations and the Remedies for
Businesses of All Sizes
NEWTON, MASS (MAY 17, 2006) –
MIS Alliance, a leader in providing IT, MIS and CIO services to
Boston area small and mid-sized businesses, today announced that
one of its three executives has been selected to speak at
Microsoft Tech-Ed, one of world’s largest, to be held in Boston
for the first time this July.
“Our vice president of
information technology, Brad Dinerman, has been selected to
moderate a forum at Microsoft Tech-Ed in July,” said Al Karimi,
President of MIS Alliance. “Tech-Ed is one of the largest
Microsoft conferences in the world. Brad’s presentation topic is
‘End-Users: The Weakest Link in Corporate Security and What We
Can Do To Fix This.’ At MIS Alliance, a Microsoft Gold Certified
Partner, we have found the topic of security to be extremely
important to our clients.”
With nearly a decade of
experience at MIS Alliance providing the latest security
measures for small and mid-sized businesses in the Boston area,
as well as the MIS Alliance executive team’s combined background
working with and inside of large corporations, Dinerman’s
insights on security come from the real business world.
“Recent headlines have made all
business owners aware of the expensive damage that can be caused
by breaches in computer security,” said Taraneh Satvat, CEO at
MIS Alliance. “At MIS Alliance, we regard educating our clients
as one of the most important roles we can play, and security is
absolutely at the top of our list. Along with Brad’s role as
founder and president of the New England Information Security
Group (NEISG), we are pleased but not surprised that Brad was
selected to lead this discussion at the Microsoft conference. At
MIS Alliance, we find this topic critical to all businesses,
large and small.”
The MIS Alliance executive’s
article entitled, “Are You Working Securely?” was recently
published in the American Bar Association’s Young Lawyer
newspaper. Furthermore, MIS Alliance’s Dinerman is featured as
technical editor of the book, “Configuring SonicWall Firewalls,”
published by Syngress in April of this year, and is a co-author
of Windows Server 2003 Networking Recipes, due for general
release by Apress Publishing in early July. Additionally,
Dinerman is one of just 45 people worldwide to be named by
Microsoft as an MVP (Most Valuable Professional) in the category
of Windows Server Networking.
